The Order of Malta participates in the 55th OAS General Assembly in Antigua and Barbuda

On 25-27 June 2025, the 55th Regular Session of the Organisation of American States (OAS) General Assembly was held in Antigua and Barbuda.

At the invitation of the OAS General Secretariat, a Sovereign Order of Malta’s delegation -led by the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Antigua and Barbuda, Przemyslaw Häuser-Schöneich – took part in the event.

The delegation participated in all events related to the General Assembly.

Ambassador Przemysław Häuser-Schöneich met with OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin. During the meeting, the current state of OAS-SMOM relations and prospects for cooperation were discussed.

Ambassador Häuser-Schöneich also met with the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Honourable Gaston Browne, and Monsignor Juan Antonio Cruz Serrano, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the Organisation of American States. The topic of both meetings was the charitable activities of the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Antigua and Barbuda. Prime Minister Browne expressed his deep gratitude for the container of charitable aid sent by the Embassy, which arrived in Barbuda after the devastating Hurricane Irma.
